The Historical Society, also known as KUHS, is a group of proud students who enjoy discussing historical events and spreading campus awareness of our history. This organization is not only for history majors, they also welcome those who share a passion for history as a hobby. However, the KUHS is not affiliated with any political or radical cause.
The avid members of KUHS gather in Hennings Hall room 117 every other Tuesday to discuss events and subjects that interest their participants. Each meeting is different, as the goal of the KUHS is to encourage a spectrum of knowledge. The KUHS hosts many events on campus. The biggest event of this semester is in association with the History honor society, Phi Alpha Theta. It will be a Banned Book Reading hosted on May 1st. Contact information can be found on their page on Cougar Link, as well as their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/KeanUniversityHistoricalSociety.
