Biography: Robin Landa holds the title of Distinguished Professor in the Michael Graves College at Kean University. She has written 23 published books about creativity, advertising, branding, personal branding, graphic design, and drawing. You can read translations of Professor Landa’s books in Chinese, Russian and Spanish. Universities worldwide have adopted her books as the basis for their curricula. Prof. Landa is a monthly contributor to HOW Design’s online magazine.

The Carnegie Foundation counts Prof. Landa among the "Great Teachers of Our Time." Prof. Landa’s students have gone on to win top industry awards, become ECDs, create Super Bowl spots, and build the heralded donation platform for President Obama.

Prof. Landa has won numerous awards, including awards from the National Society of Arts and Letters, the National League of Pen Women, Creativity, New Jersey Authors Award, the ADCNJ, Graphic Design USA, three KU Presidential Excellence Awards for Scholarship, and the KU Human Rights Educator Award. She was the 2013 Kean University Professor of the Year and a finalist in the Wall Street Journal’s Creative Leaders competition and the sole judge of the 2014 International HOW Design Logo Competition.
